3C presents: Emerson, Lake & Palmer Reloaded
"If there is anybody knowing anything about my music, it’s them" (Keith Emerson)
3C is Colò, Canonici & Carlini, three childhood friends who turned professional in the music world. 3C wanted for years to form an Emerson, Lake & Palmer’s tribute band, but life brought them to different parts of the world. Eventually (better late than never!) they did it with great success. The late Keith Emerson heard the band, loved the concept hence decided to endorse 3C with a video presentation which is shown in the concert. Keith has actually even named the band! 3C is in fact the name Mr Emerson came up with, based on each band member’s initials.
Marcello Colò – Hammond organ and keyboards
Marcello is since 1975 sound designer and keyboards demonstrator with leading companies the likes of GeneralMusic, Korg and Ketron. He was products specialist for USA’s Baldwin. Marcello, based in Italy, is also active and popular as an arranger and composer of radio/TV jingles and theatre music, as well as tribute bands’ performer.
Corrado Canonici – bass, guitar and vocals
Corrado has been an award-winning double-bass player. London-based since 1997, he founded the music agency World Concert Artists in 2001 representing crossover and progressive musicians. Corrado had the honour of being the agent of the legendary Keith Emerson since 2004, as well as playing with him in a few occasions.
Alessandro Carlini – drums and percussion
Alessandro is an awarded musician whose TV, theatre and concert work include: Rossini Opera Festival, Accademia Nazionale Santa Cecilia, Fenice of Venice as well as an ongoing collaboration with the FORM Orchestra. Mr Carlini is also a very busy and popular percussion teacher as well as session drummer in his native Italy.
