Marco Mendoza forma parte de la vieja escuela del rock, es un músico con reputación, destaca por su destreza en el bajo, aunque también es vocalista y toca la guitarra. Ha grabado dos discos solistas a la fecha. Whitesnake, Ted Nugent, Thin Lizzy, George Lynch o Derek Sherinian entre otros consiguieron contar con sus servicios.

El reputado bajista Marco Mendoza actuará en la sala Monasterio de Barcelona el 18 de marzo. Avalado por un currículo forjado en bandas como Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake, Ted Nugent, Blue Murder, Soul Cirkus, The Dead Daisies…, Mendoza encabezará un trío que lo completarán los italianos Fabio Cerrone (guitarrista, Eric Martin, Tony Martin, Blaze Bayley, Joe Lynn Turner…) y Giuseppe Liberti.

Marco comes from a very musical family and started playing the guitar at an early age.

Marco is perhaps mostly known for his work with a number of rock bands and artists such as Thin Lizzy, Blue Murder, Whitesnake ,Ted Nugent, Neal Schon and Soul SirkUS, Lynch Mob, as well as diverse artists such as Dolores O’Riordan from the Cranberries. He is currently touring with The Dead Daisies.

Marco lives in Los Angeles and when he´s not touring he can often be found playing local jazz clubs with Joey Heredia and Renato Neto and other great musicians.

The multi-talented musician who has played with a list of some of the biggest names in rock music including Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake, Neal Schon of Journey and Ted Nugent to name a few, brings his eclectic show back to these shores.

With a background that bridges the gap between contemporary music in rock and pop, along with jazz, fusion and soul, Marco has a tonal quality to his voice, not unlike some of the greatest jazz and blues singers of the past that can easily memorise a crowd.

Some new material will be offered up on the tour along with some of the greatest hits by rock artists and beyond, and if its anything like The Dead Daisies current tour, tickets will potentially go very quickly.
